Cherise K. Boyce, Associate

Cherise received her law degree from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law in 2009.  While in law school, she served as an extern for the Honorable Judge Karl K. Sakamoto and the Honorable Judge Rhonda A. Nishimura at the Circuit Court of the First Circuit. 

During law school, Cherise was awarded a Fellowship in Native Hawaiian Law from the Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law at the William S. Richardson School of Law. She worked at the Center for Native Hawaiian Advancement in their Law and Policy Center and was also a law clerk at the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation. 

Cherise was a member of the Criminal Law Moot Court Team at the William S. Richardson School of Law and competed at the Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Law Moot Court Competition in Buffalo, New York. In addition to her law studies, she was Vice-Magister of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and a Class Representative on the Student Bar Association.

Prior to attending law school, Cherise received a Master’s degree in English Literature from The University of Oxford.  She received her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Washington and is a graduate of The Kamehameha Schools.
