Anna is in Damon Key's Dispute
Resolution practice area. Prior to joining the firm
in 1992, she worked for the Hawaii Supreme Court as
a clerk for Justice Ronald Moon. While attending law
school, she served as a member and then note editor
of Hastings Communication and Entertainment Law
Journal.
As a director of the firm, her main focus is
commercial litigation, in particular construction
litigation. She has represented contractors,
suppliers, subcontractors owners, and design
professionals in various forms of dispute
resolution.
She is a member of the Building Industry Associates,
the ABA Forum on Construction Law, the ABA Forum on
Construction Industry's Division One Steering
Committee, and is a contributing co-author for many
books on construction law, including the
State-By-State Guide to Architect, Engineer and
Contractor Licensing (Aspen Law & Business 1999), A
State-By State Guide To Construction And Design Law
(ABA 1998); Fifty State Construction Lien and Bond
Law (Aspen Law & Business 2000); and The
Design/Build Process: A Guide to Licensing and
Procurement Requirements in the 50 States and Canada
(ABA 1997).
She has also participated in seminars on
construction law, and co-authored contributing
articles for various construction publications,
including The Construction Lawyer and Reeves
Journal.
